Rooted in the legacy of Minimal Art, this piece plays with functional constraint to inhabit the boundary between furniture and contemporary art, allowing a purely sculptural language to emerge. Midnight Table extends an exploration of matter as a site of memory. The casting glass records in its concentric rings the trace of the originating gesture — a persistence of movement within stillness. The piece is born from the encounter of two materials sharing a common origin: high-temperature fusion. The midnight blue surface seems to float despite its mass — an illusion made possible by its deliberately minimalist bronze base. Midnight: that suspended hour when the sky ceases to be sky and becomes matter, when light is memory. Glass captures and diffuses light; bronze anchors the piece in its materiality. One reveals, the other affirms.
